Up to 81 local children are needed to play the roles of Peter Pan, Wendy, John, Michael, Nana, Tinkerbelle, The Crocodile, The Pirates, The Lost Kids, and the other inhabitants of Neverland. Auditions are open to anyone age 7- 16. Auditions will take place Monday, February 24, 3:40 - 5:40 pm. The audition process lasts up to two hours and all those auditioning are required to be in attendance for its entirety. During the time frame of 2:30 - 3:40 the directors will be conducting an acting workshop with the elementary students who arrive at 2:30. Rehearsals will be held from 3:40 pm to 8 pm the remainder of the week, with performance scheduled for Friday, February 28, 7 pm in the Discovery Center auditorium. Two professional actor/directors from Prairie Fire’s staff will direct the production and play the roles of Tiger Lil and Captain Hook. Tickets for the performance are $7 adult/$4 student and will be available the week of February 24 - 28 in the Community Ed office in Discovery and at the door the night of performance. Doors will open at 6 pm (no reserved seating).
