KidKare is the BHM schools preschool and school age child care program available at Hanover, Montrose, Northwinds, Parkside and Tatanka schools.
This Safety Class is hosted by the Buffalo Snowriders Snowmobile Club. The registration deadline is December 6 or when the class is full.
Location: Discovery Elementary School, Buffalo
Check-in: 8:45 am. Parent or legal guardian must be present for check-in and are encouraged to attend at least the first hour of class.
Class begins at 9 am. Once students have completed their road course and finalized paperwork they will be ready to be picked-up. We expect pick-up will be between 1-3 pm.
Fee: $5 for supplies payable to BHM Community Education at the time of registration.
Requirements: Must be 11 years of age before class date listed above and have completed the online course in order to be eligible to take this class. The DNR online course can be taken at https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/safety/vehicle/snowmobile/index.html.
We encourage all parents to help support safe riding practices. Parents are welcome to stay and participate and/or help during the safety class. Please be available to pick up your child when class is finished.
Things each attendee MUST bring to the class:
Lunch
Printed Snowmobile Voucher from MN DNR approved online courses.
Birth certificate, passport or state issued ID
Helmet that has a D.O.T rating and snowmobile approved shield or goggles that fit attendees head.
Warm clothes suitable for riding snowmobile outdoors, which includes gloves, boots, snow pants and jacket.
Attendees should bring a backpack or something to keep all personal items in during the class room and driving test.
