“Once Upon a Time…” That’s how every great fairytale begins. But what happens when The Storybook falls into the wrong hands? What if someone wasn’t so happy with their “happily ever after” and decided to rewrite the ending? Instead of ruling the high seas, what if Captain Hook took up crocheting? What if Jack and Jill were too afraid to go up the hill? And what if Sleeping Beauty could no longer sleep? Poor Rip Van Winkle has been guarding The Storybook for far too long. When he finally wakes, the book has vanished—and the world of fairytales is turned upside down. Joined by his loyal companions, the Seven Dwarfs, Rip embarks on a quest to set things right. Along the way, they encounter a host of familiar characters: Mother Goose and the quirky residents of the Shoe Inn, the Evil Queen and her band of Bad Apples, Captain Hook and the Pirates of Neverland, and of course the Fairy Godmother and all of the young royals at Pixie Dust’s School for Girls and Boys. Can Rip and his friends return The Storybook to its rightful place before the stories are changed forever?
