    2024-25 Registration is OPEN! Bison Preschool (Formerly known as Ready Set Grow Preschool) 3 years old by September 1, 2024 Preschool is an important part of building the skills your child will use as they move toward Kindergarten age. It is an exciting time for children to grow through learning with friends. During our Bison Preschool classes, children will experience large and small group activities that focus on language development, building social skills, pretend play, early academics including, early literacy, math, and writing skills. There are also opportunities for art, science, and outdoor play activities. Our preschool classes are taught by Licensed Early Teachers in partnership with Early Childhood Special Education teachers and are created for all children. Bison Preschool offerings include, Three, Four, and Five Day All Day Options Please Note: Parents are responsible for transportation to and from preschool. Unique Offerings: Bison Explore Nature Preschool This unique Bison Preschool option (Hanover Elementary and Montrose Early Education Center) provides children with all of the opportunities of a traditional preschool program with a Nature Inspired focus. Children will have access to indoor and outdoor learning opportunities. Join us as we learn more about the natural world and our place in it. Bison All Day Preschool This Bison Preschool option is designed for 4 and 5 year old children the year before Kindergarten. This offering will focus on building friendships, early academic skills, and routines similar to Kindergarten, including eating breakfast and lunch at school. In addition, students will also have a quiet rest time as part of their school day. 2024-25 Tuition Rates A $50 non-refundable registration fee will reserve a place for your child in the class 9 monthly payments are due September 2024 – May 2025 2 days per week = $120 per month 3 days per week = $150 per month 4 days per week = $240 per month 5 days per week = $775 per month No family will be turned away due to inability to pay.     KidKare is a school based child care program for ages 3 - 12, located at our BHM Elementary Schools. We are open 6 am - 6 pm, Monday - Friday, on most non-school days and during the summer. School Age Care (Full for 2024-25 school year) Extends your child's learning day while providing high quality care in a safe and fun environment. We offer flexible scheduling with before and after school care, non-school day care, and summer care. Our exceptional staff provide a variety of indoor and outdoor activities for your child to enjoy. KinderKids (Full for 2024-25 school year) Full day care program for children ages 3 - 5 not yet in school. (Must be fully potty trained.) Our staff teach theme based activities that include social and emotional skills, academic readiness, art and science, and learning through play. We offer flexible scheduling with half day care, full day care and care that wraps around your child's Bison Preschool class. Be able to pull down their underwear and pants and get them back up without assistance. Be able to wipe themselves after using the toilet. Be able to get on and off the potty by themselves. Be able to wash and dry their own hands. Be able to postpone going if they must wait for someone who is in the bathroom or if we are outside and away from the bathroom. Summer Program Summer care is available in Buffalo, Hanover and Montrose. Our amazingly creative staff keep your child engaged all summer long with a variety of weekly themed activities that include outdoor play, gym games, arts and crafts, science, free choice and more. Registration Online registration is open 2 times per year; for our summer session and for our school year session. We have a 2 week priority window for our current families before opening it up to new families. We accept registrations until we are full, then go to a waiting list.   • Little Bison Preschool

    2024-25 Registration is OPEN! Little Bison Preschool (Formerly known as Spring Into Preschool) 2.5 years old by September 1, 2024 Little Bison Preschool is a preschool program designed for our youngest learners. This class offers opportunities that support a child’s early learning in a smaller group setting. Little Bison Preschool classes focus on your child’s early social-emotional skill development and well-being including, turn-taking, sharing, trading, and playing with peers, and building experiences with preschool routines. A gentle separating class where parents are encouraged to attend with their child for the first session. In addition, there will be opportunities for parent conversations with other parents led by a licensed parent educator one time per month. Parent Education topics may include; creating positive routines at home, building a child’s self-regulation skills, learning strategies for adults to stay calm, how and why to use visual schedules, and more.   • Opening Doors

    Opening Doors Program is for anyone, age 16+, with a disability. The program serves five communities (Becker, Big Lake, Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose, Howard Lake/Waverly/Winsted & Monticello). Classes and activities are adapted for adults with cognitive and physical disabilities. All activities are guided by caring Opening Doors staff.
